How the stones are used
Smooth warm stones bring targeted heat into a Couples Massage to complement the massage style you and your partner choose. Stones are prepared and applied by the therapist to specific areas to introduce soothing warmth; they are used in combination with hands-on strokes rather than replacing your selected massage technique.
Hot stones are added per person, so each partner can receive stones independently. During the session the therapist adjusts placement and timing to match your comfort and the chosen technique, using the stones as an additional warming tool to support relaxation without changing your core treatment choice.
Choosing one or both
Because hot stones are added per person, one partner can opt in while the other keeps their original massage style. The decision affects billing—the add-on price is $10 per person—and allows customized experiences in the same room so each person gets the pressure and style they prefer.
If you have a specific area you want warmed, tell your therapist at check-in. Stones can be focused on shoulders, back, or other areas during the massage; therapists coordinate timing so the shared session flows smoothly even when partners choose different options.
Local context and timing
New Hope and the Peddler's Village area draw guests who combine outings with wellness, so many couples add heat as a brief upgrade during a planned visit. The region’s four-season climate means some clients prefer the extra warmth in cooler months, while others choose it year-round for deeper relaxation during shopping or dining excursions nearby.
Our Lahaska location is convenient from Route 202 and Lower York Road for Bucks County residents and drive-in visitors. Adding stones is a short appointment modification you can schedule alongside other spa services, making it easy to pair a couples massage with local shopping, dining, or entertainment in Peddler’s Village.
