What the session includes
Unwind at Puritie Spa combines our 45-minute Stress Headache Therapy with a 30-minute Foot Rub & Scrub into a single 75 MINUTES session. Therapists layer essential oils, a heated face mask and hot stones while working the head, face, neck and upper shoulders, following the studio’s standard sequence to address daily muscle tightness and pressure points.
The second half centers on an exfoliating sugar foot scrub to refresh tired feet, followed by a heated-stone foot massage and hot towels. This structured pairing moves attention from upper-body tension to lower-body circulation and surface renewal, using touch, heat and aromatic oils rather than invasive procedures or medical interventions.
How the techniques combine
The 45-minute Stress Headache Therapy portion concentrates on head, face, sinuses, neck, shoulders, arms and hands, using pressure-point work and soothing strokes to reduce localized tension. The heated face mask and hot stones are applied to support relaxation and warmth, which helps therapists reach deeper-held tightness with comfortable, measured pressure.
Following that, the 30-minute Foot Rub & Scrub reintroduces sensory stimulation through exfoliation and heat. The sugar scrub removes surface build-up while massage and hot stones focus on muscle relaxation in the feet. Together the steps create a contrast of focused upper-body release and restorative foot work, intended to feel cohesive within a single appointment.
Preparing and what to expect
Plan to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time so your therapist can review preferences and any areas to avoid. The studio welcomes drive-in clients from Route 202 and Lower York Road; many guests schedule Unwind as part of a day in Peddler’s Village. Clothing and modesty are preserved with draping, and therapists adapt pressure to your comfort level.
The appointment runs a total of 75 MINUTES and is performed in the Lahaska studio near Peddler’s Village, serving New Hope and surrounding communities. If you have recent injuries, open wounds, or medical questions, mention them during booking so your therapist can tailor or adapt the session safely and appropriately.
