Polish, Towels, Stones Method
Each 35 MINUTES Foot Scrub & Rub begins with our in-house organic sugar body polish worked over the feet to exfoliate rough skin and lift surface dry cells. Warm towels are used to remove the polish and soften residual areas. The therapist follows with warm stones and targeted hand massage to soothe tired muscles and encourage immediate comfort.
How much change you notice depends on your baseline skin and activity. Seasonal dryness from cold winters or summer walking in the Delaware Canal and nearby trails can affect how quickly skin re-accumulates roughness. Clients who wear heavy footwear or walk frequently may need more frequent maintenance, while occasional visitors combining treatments with Peddler’s Village visits may schedule periodic touch-ups.
What Happens During Treatment
On arrival you’ll be seated comfortably while the therapist assesses skin texture and any sensitivity. The polish is applied and worked with controlled pressure suitable for your comfort level; warm towels follow to cleanse and hydrate. Warm stones are positioned briefly while hands deliver a focused foot massage. The whole sequence fits within the 35 MINUTES appointment.
Privacy and comfort are standard; treatments take place in our Lahaska studio near Peddler’s Village with convenient access from Route 202 and Lower York Road. If you plan to combine services or shop locally afterward, let reception know—appointments are practical for drive-in customers from New Hope, Solebury, Lambertville and surrounding Bucks County communities.
Aftercare And Maintenance Tips
After the scrub, skin feels softer and is temporarily more receptive to moisturizers; apply a regular foot cream after the session to extend softness. Avoid abrasive home scrubbing for at least a day so the newly exposed skin can settle. Choice of lotion and how often you reapply will influence maintenance and scheduling for repeat visits.
Seasonal factors in the New Hope area can change how often you need foot care—cold winters bring dryer skin, while summer activities may speed re-roughening. If you have specific skin concerns or persistent calluses, discuss them during booking so the therapist can adapt pressure and frequency within the scope of this cosmetic service.
